The programme offers in-person and online training in Business and Entrepreneurship, Civic Leadership and Public Management and sector specific programmes.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p><strong>The program is open to young African leaders who meet the following criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Age (18-35)<\/li>\n<li>English language proficiency<\/li>\n<li>Portuguese for our Portuguese language program<\/li>\n<li>A commitment to positively impact Africa, their countries and communities.<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to serve the development agenda of the African continent.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated leadership capabilities and interest in Public Management, Entrepreneurship Development and Civic Leadership<\/li>\n<li>Young leaders from the following countries are eligible to participate in the programme: Angola, Botswana, Comoros, Lesotho, Malawi, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Kingdom of Eswatini, Zambia and Zimbabwe.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The programme encourages applications from:<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Rural based and economically disadvantaged young leaders<\/li>\n<li>Young leaders with disabilities<\/li>\n<li>Women<\/li>\n<li>People who are HIV positive or who are living with AIDS<\/li>\n<li>Individuals that represent and advocate for the rights of LGBTQIA+ communities across the region<\/li>\n<li>Other minority groups<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Benefits<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The programme offers 4-7 weeks of intense online or in-person training in Business and Entrepreneurship, Civic Leadership, Public Management, Education and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) with post training exposure to: Grant Funding Opportunities, Networking, Collaboration, Tools and Resources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For More Information:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/yaliafricarecruitment.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/yaliafricarecruitment.org\/\">Visit the Official Webpage of the YALI Regional Leadership Center Southern Africa (YALI RLC-SA)\u00a0Online Cohort 23<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Application Deadline: February 7, 2025.
