It carries a cash award of USD5,000 generously provided by Professor Abdool Karim.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ELIGIBILITY:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The award recognizes women scientists for their achievements in\u00a0<strong>Biological Sciences.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Eligible nominees for the 2025 award are\u00a0<strong>female scientists not older than 45 years of age<\/strong>\u00a0nationals of a\u00a0<strong>Least Developed African country<\/strong>\u00a0who have been living and working there for at least two years immediately prior to their nomination.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SELECTION:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A pre-screening of the candidates will be done at TWAS, the nomination dossiers of the qualified candidates will then be submitted to jury members for their evaluation.
