The program target companies owned,\u00a0<strong>led or operated by African citizens and produce products for African customers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"headline-778-57\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>01 \/<\/strong>\u00a0African Ownership &amp; Focus<\/h3>\n<p>Companies must be African-owned, led, or operated and focused on serving African markets.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"headline-789-57\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>02 \/<\/strong>\u00a0Tech-Enabled &amp; \u2028Data-Driven<\/h3>\n<p>Innovators must leverage technology and data to improve healthcare delivery or product distribution.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"headline-795-57\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>03 \/<\/strong>\u00a0Stage-Specific Innovators<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Early-Stage:\u00a0<\/strong>Companies in the early stages of development with a proven concept.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Growth-Stage:<\/strong>\u00a0Companies with demonstrated traction and scaling potential.<\/p>\n<p>Benefits<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Access to Markets<\/strong>: i3 connects healthtech start-ups with large healthcare organizations including governments, donors, and global health institutions to drive adoption of start-ups\u2019 offerings and scale.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Risk-Tolerant Finance<\/strong>: i3 provides grant funding of $50K for early-stage innovators and up to $225K for growth-stage innovators, to overcome barriers to partnerships with large healthcare organizations e.g. WHO pre-qualification and regulatory compliance.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Partnership Readiness Support<\/strong>: i3 provides a roadmap to help innovators meet the requirements for partnering with major healthcare organizations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bespoke Deal Facilitation<\/strong>: i3 helps innovators refine their strategic positioning and increase the likelihood of successful partnerships and deals with large healthcare organizations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Communications and Advocacy<\/strong>: i3 provides highly professionalized communications and advocacy, to amplify the work of African healthtech innovators in the global health landscape.
