The Postgraduate Programme for Sustainability Cooperation (PGP)\u00a0enhances the competence of master\u2019s graduates aspiring to a career in international cooperation for development and sustainability. Each year, they select 18 people for the 9-month programme.<\/p>\n<p>The Postgraduate Programme offers a comprehensive 360-degree perspective on global cooperation, and participants learn competences for partnership-based cooperation. Participants gain a foundation for reflective and dedicated professional action and are part of their valuable network. All participants receive a scholarship of \u20ac 1,500 per month. IDOS covers additional costs for the research stays.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Good to very good master\u2019s degree in economics, social sciences (e.g., political science\/international relations, sociology, development research, social anthropology, area studies, social science-oriented sustainability research) or 2nd state examination in law or 1st state examination (teaching degree).<\/li>\n<li>Qualifying degree must not have been obtained more than five years prior to the start of the course.<\/li>\n<li>Language proficiency in English (C1); proficiency in German (C1) is desired; good knowledge of another language (preferably a UN language or Portuguese) is an asset.<\/li>\n<li>German or EU citizenship (including Schengen area), or a permanent residence permit for Germany, or a permanent EU residence permit.<\/li>\n<li>Stays in or transnational relations to Africa, Asia and Latin America are an asset (e.g., internships, voluntary services, work or study visits).<\/li>\n<li>Personal motivation to work in global cooperation for sustainable development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Selection Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"12e8abe62ae64b91c0bfbd6c80849a4d\" data-index=\"5\"><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-7238845118856992\" data-ad-slot=\"3100905470\" data-adsbygoogle-status=\"done\" data-ad-status=\"filled\"><\/p>\n<div id=\"aswift_3_host\">After a careful internal pre-selection, 48 candidates are given the opportunity to present themselves in person as part of the main digital selection process.
