The goal of the scholarship is to give less experienced and connected professionals an opportunity for training, networking and focused learning on sustainability in the hospitality industry.<\/p>\n<p>Hospitality professionals worldwide struggle with access to training and education that would take them to the next level in the beverage industry. They also lack opportunities to interact with producers for their professional and personal development, and to gain a deeper understanding of the origins of beverage. At the same time, hospitality professionals play a key role in conveying fundamental values, such as sustainability, social justice and equity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A cohort of 12 people per event will receive lodging, a $1,000 travel stipend, registration, connection and training with a Slow Food ambassador, and a special Slow Food welcome dinner during the event.\u00a0Applicants will choose either Tales of the Cocktail (July 20-25,\u00a02025\u00a0in New Orleans, USA),\u00a0Terra Madre\u00a0Americas\u00a0(September\u00a026\u201328,\u00a02025\u00a0in\u00a0Sacramento, USA)\u00a0or Slow Wine Fair (February 22-24,\u00a02026\u00a0in Bologna, Italy).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicants must be currently employed in the beverage industry and interested in incorporating Slow Food values of \u201cgood, clean and fair food and beverage for all\u201d into their work.<\/li>\n<li>They will prioritize:\n<ul>\n<li>underrepresented people<\/li>\n<li>first-time event attendees<\/li>\n<li>applicants who demonstrate interest in Slow Food values of good, clean and fair beverage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fill out the application form to apply for an Education Scholarships by May 4, 2025.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tfaforms.com\/5172003\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Click here to apply<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For more information, visit <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.slowfood.com\/it\/insights\/calls-for-proposals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Slow Food Negroni Week Fund: Education Scholarships<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Deadline: May 4, 2025 Applications for the Slow Food Negroni Week Fund: Education Scholarships 2025 are now open.
