The Wells Fargo Pitch to the Pack is a competition open to textile-focused entrepreneurs who aim to propel the US domestic textile industry forward.<\/p>\n<p>Whether companies are developing cutting-edge technology, improving the environment through sustainability, or focused on serving everyday textile consumers, they can compete for the chance to win valuable nominations to the NC\u00a0State Andrews Launch Accelerator and monetary awards to be used for prototyping and business development. The program is open to all entrepreneurs working on a textile-based business.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Program Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Upon registering for the event, teams will have the opportunity to attend a \u201cHow to Make a Pitch\u201d session before submitting their\u00a0online video application. Judges will review all video applications to narrow down the candidates to 10 finalists who will pitch live in front of a judging panel of industry experts. Teams that are selected as finalists will participate in workshops hosted by the W. Duke Kimbrell Flex Factory at the Wilson College of Textiles prior to pitch day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All business concepts\/products must be textile-related.<\/li>\n<li>Those whose business relies on university-owned technology should speak with the Office of Research Commercialization before registering.<\/li>\n<li>Finalists must participate in the workshops offered in the W. Duke Kimbrell Flex Factory.<\/li>\n<li>Finalists must agree to participate in the Pitch to the Pack Event video.
