The University Twente Scholarship (UTS) is a scholarship for excellent students from non-EU\/EER countries, applying for a graduate programme (MSc) at the University of Twente.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you are a prospective, a recent graduate, or a professional aiming to grow professionally and personally, the University of Twente (UT) offers a wide range of programmes from pre-university programmes and bachelor\u2019s programmes to master\u2019s and in-company training. At UT, you\u2019ll find programmes in diverse fields such as technical medicine, robotics, data science, and geo-information.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scholarship<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u20ac 3,000 \u2013 \u20ac 22,000 for one year.<\/li>\n<li>Have a look at the overview of the estimated costs of living when studying at the University of Twente (excluding tuition fees).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Application for an UT scholarship is a procedure separate from the application for course entry at the University of Twente. Regardless of funding, you will need to gain an accademic admission letter first.<\/li>\n<li>You have been (provisionally) admitted to one of the qualifying UT Master programmes starting in the academic year 2026\/2027 (September). Note: After completion of your application, it may take up to 8 weeks before you receive the results.<\/li>\n<li>You must have a student number.<\/li>\n<li>You have not graduated from a UT (under)graduate programme;<\/li>\n<li>You comply with the conditions for obtaining an entry visa in the Netherlands (if applicable);<\/li>\n<li>You comply with the general English language test requirement Academic IELTS 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT of 90) and an additional 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) on the subscore of speaking skills<\/li>\n<li>You are not eligible for a Dutch study loan;<\/li>\n<li>The University Twente Scholarship is a scholarship for excellent students. This means that you only belong to the best 5 to 10 percent of your graduation class at your home university. Self-knowledge is of the essence!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You have to apply for a Master\u2019s programme first. Once you applied for a Master\u2019s programme and received a (conditional) admission letter, you can apply for the scholarship with your student number. UTS is not available for Dutch and\/or current UT students. The UTS is not available for EU\/EEA students. The UTS is not available for Master\u2019s programmes at the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC).
