If you want to make a big impact on Internet governance in your community, receive training and connect with a network of key influencers in the Internet governance sphere, attend a key Internet event, gain access to a platform where you can raise your voice on Internet issues that matter to you, influence policies that defend the Internet; then this is for you.<\/p>\n<p>Each year, the Internet Society chooses fifteen young, passionate people to participate in their Youth Ambassador Program, equipping the next generation of Internet leaders to collaborate and innovate for a better world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This program brings the opportunity to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Join a network of knowledgeable Internet leaders who continue to develop their skills and competencies, actively support Internet Society\u2019s mission, and advocate for protecting the Internet.<\/li>\n<li>Deepen your subject expertise through specific Internet governance online training.<\/li>\n<li>Broaden your advocacy, communications, project management, and leadership skills.<\/li>\n<li>Attend a significant Internet event especially selected for you according to your preferences, profile and location.<\/li>\n<li>Engage and collaborate with key Internet stakeholders around the world.<\/li>\n<li>Be mentored by key Internet leaders and experts.<\/li>\n<li>Develop the skills and connections needed to make more of an impact in your local community (and beyond!).<\/li>\n<li>Benefit from sharing networks, learning from each other\u2019s approaches, working together, and forging relationships that will significantly enhance your impact as future Internet leaders in your community, country, and region.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All applicants must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be between the ages of 18-30 at the date of the submitted application.<\/li>\n<li>Have a high level of reading, speaking and writing skills in English.<\/li>\n<li>Be comfortable with public speaking and communicating positions.<\/li>\n<li>Have continuous access to the Internet during all the phases of the program as well as the appropriate equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Be able to dedicate a minimum of 4 hours per week during the 12-month program duration.<\/li>\n<li>Have the availability to take part in weekly meetings and webinars, usually between 11h and 16h UTC<\/li>\n<li>Be able to travel and hold a valid passport.<\/li>\n<li>Not have been previously selected as an Internet Society\u2019s IGF Ambassador, IGF Youth Ambassador, Youth@IGF Fellow, or Youth Ambassador.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/app.smartsheet.com\/b\/form\/01995d62dab970dbbb00a8a5f9403cfe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Click here to apply<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For more information, visit <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.internetsociety.org\/policy-programs\/youth-ambassadors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Internet Society Youth Ambassador Program<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text]<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"[vc_column_text css=\"\"] Deadline: December 2, 2025 Applications are open for the Internet Society Youth Ambassador Program 2026.
