This is your chance!<\/p>\n<p>Amnesty International Kenya is inviting applications for the position of Youth Delegate to represent the Kenya section at the Regional Forum and Global Assembly 2026, with a two-year commitment through 2027. This leadership role is designed for young people who are ready to influence policy, amplify youth voices, and contribute to global human rights governance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a Youth Delegate, you will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in all national preparation meetings leading up to the Regional Forum and Global Assembly.<\/li>\n<li>Engage in online and in-person leadership workshops run by Amnesty\u2019s Global Children and Youth Team.<\/li>\n<li>Represent the perspectives and priorities of Kenyan young people in global discussions and decision-making.<\/li>\n<li>Attend the Regional Forum (2026) and Global Assembly (August 2026).<\/li>\n<li>Share learnings and strengthen youth participation by bringing back insights to the COC\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>Mentor the next Youth Delegate in 2027.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applicants must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be 22 years old or below.<\/li>\n<li>Be a registered member of Amnesty International Kenya.<\/li>\n<li>Be an active member of an Amnesty Circle of Conscience.<\/li>\n<li>Be available for all training and preparation sessions from January\u2013July 2026.<\/li>\n<li>Commit to serving for two years (2026 and 2027).<\/li>\n<li>Have a strong interest in human rights, leadership, governance, and youth advocacy.<\/li>\n<li>Be able to communicate clearly, work in teams, and represent diverse youth perspectives.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate values aligned with Amnesty International: courage, integrity, solidarity, accountability, and inclusion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A short motivation statement (max 500 words) explaining why you want to be the Youth Delegate.<\/li>\n<li>A brief CV (max 2 pages).<\/li>\n<li>Confirmation of your COC membership through a recommendation by the COC chairperson<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Send your application to:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/opportunitydesk.org\/cdn-cgi\/l\/email-protection\" data-cfemail=\"deb6acbbadabaeaeb1acaa9ebfb3b0bbadaaa7f0b1acf0b5bb\">[email\u00a0protected]<\/a><\/strong> with the subject line: <em>Application \u2013 Youth Delegate 2026<\/em><\/p>\n<p>For more information, visit <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amnestykenya.org\/call-for-applications-youth-delegate-for-the-global-assembly-2026-2017\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Youth Delegate for the Global Assembly<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text]<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"[vc_column_text css=\"\"] Deadline: December 6, 2025 Do you want to represent Kenyan youth at Amnesty International\u2019s highest global decision-making spaces?
