The Civic Space Resource Hub (CSR-Hub) is the West Africa hub of the Global Weaving Resilience initiative, designed to strengthen the capacities of civil society\u00a0organisations\u00a0(CSOs) in the region. The goal is to make them more resilient, well-resourced, compliant, and sustainable. Through a 12-month\u00a0programme\u00a0of tailored training, mentorship, coaching, and institutional support, the CSR-Hub enhances the operational, digital, financial, and governance systems of CSOs working to defend and advance civic freedoms.<\/p>\n<p>Since its\u00a0inception\u00a0in 2022, the initiative has supported over\u00a0200\u00a0organisations\u00a0through its\u00a0four\u00a0strategic pillars\u00a0including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Civic Space Protection and Regulatory Compliance<\/li>\n<li>Leadership and\u00a0Organisational\u00a0Governance<\/li>\n<li>Resource\u00a0Mobilisation\u00a0and Financial Resilience<\/li>\n<li>Digital Security and Protection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Successful\u00a0organisations\u00a0will participate in a structured capacity-strengthening and\u00a0coaching\u00a0programme\u00a0over\u00a0the\u00a0period, which includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0A\u00a03-days\u00a0training\u00a0facilitated\u00a0season professionals<\/li>\n<li>Personalised\u00a0one-on-one coaching and mentoring.<\/li>\n<li>Advisory support and practical guidance to strengthen your organisation\u2019s work.<\/li>\n<li>Handholding throughout the process, especially during action planning.<\/li>\n<li>Peer learning opportunities with other participating organisations.<\/li>\n<li>Tailored mentoring sessions based on your organisation\u2019s specific needs.<\/li>\n<li>Connections with previous CSR-Hub cohorts for shared learning and collaboration.<\/li>\n<li>Space to contribute to regional discussions on shrinking civic space and strategies to counter restrictions.<\/li>\n<li>Access to\u00a0the\u00a0CSR-Hub\u00a0regional learning and advocacy\u00a0platform.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Open to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Legally registered\u00a0civil society\u00a0organisations\u00a0operating\u00a0in\u00a0Nigeria, Ghana\u00a0and Senegal.<\/li>\n<li>Civil society\u00a0organisations\u00a0including\u00a0non-governmental\u00a0organisations,\u00a0community-based\u00a0(grassroots)\u00a0organisations, faith-based\u00a0organisations,\u00a0with priority consideration for\u00a0women\u00a0or\u00a0youth\u00a0led\u00a0organisations.<\/li>\n<li>Organisations\u00a0must\u00a0have been active for at least two (2) years and\u00a0demonstrate\u00a0a clear commitment to\u00a0social justice, human rights, open civic space, advocacy\u00a0etc.<\/li>\n<li>Grassroots and emerging organisations with limited access to institutional support are strongly encouraged to apply.<\/li>\n<li>Have at least five (5) full-time staff or a consistent volunteer structure.<\/li>\n<li>Be willing to commit to active participation in all training and mentorship sessions throughout the cohort period.<\/li>\n<li>Be willing to share relevant organizational documents for compliance review (e.g.\u00a0registration certificate, constitution, board list, policy manuals).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The application deadline is\u00a0Thursday\u00a015\u00a0January\u00a02026\u00a0by 11:59pm GMT.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.surveymonkey.com\/r\/call4application_CSR-HUBCohort4csp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Click here to apply<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For more information, visit <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/csrhubwestafrica.org\/call-for-application-civic-space-resource-hub-csr-hub-for-csos-in-west-africa-cohort-iv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CSR-Hub<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text]<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"[vc_column_text css=\"\"] Deadline: January 15, 2026 Applications are open for the fourth cohort of the Civic Space Resource Hub (CSR-HUB) for Civil Society Organisations in West Africa.
