They are pleased to announce the inaugural competition for the Ronald Mitchell Prize awarded to the best student paper using the International Environmental Agreements Database (IEADB).<\/p>\n<p>The International Environmental Agreements (IEA) Database Project is the most comprehensive, reliable and detailed repository of IEAs. Initiated in 2002 by Prof. Ronald Mitchell (University of Oregon) and now maintained at Universit\u00e9 Laval, it is widely used by policy-makers and researchers around the world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The winner will receive a cash prize of $500 USD.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Papers must be authored by individuals who were students (from undergraduate students to PhD candidates) in 2025. Coauthored papers are allowed, provided the first author is a student.<\/li>\n<li>Eligible submissions include term papers, master\u2019s theses, thesis chapters, or side projects.<\/li>\n<li>Papers completed before February 1, 2025, are not eligible.<\/li>\n<li>Papers may be published or unpublished. Authors retain full copyright over their submissions.<\/li>\n<li>Papers must have between 5,000 and 12,000 words, including references.
