Residencies are intended for artists and cultural practitioners aiming to spend up to three months immersed in a different daily context. Pro Helvetia\u2019s residency programme operates in close collaboration with a network of partners active in various artistic fields and formats.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The program provides:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accommodation<\/li>\n<li>Travel costs<\/li>\n<li>Daily allowances<\/li>\n<li>Coach: a cultural professional from the local artistic field, facilitating networking and exchange<\/li>\n<li>Workstation (on request)<\/li>\n<li>Contribution towards production\/material costs (on request)<\/li>\n<li>In addition, artists and cultural practitioners with childcare responsibilities can apply for financial support of up to CHF 1,000 per month as a contribution to childcare or for the travel expenses of their children and, if necessary, a carer. This also applies if the child\/children stay at home and are cared for.
