The Emerging Political Leaders Fellowship (EPLF) is a non-partisan political leadership development programme of The Bridge Leadership Foundation (TBLF). The Fellowship is designed to identify, nurture, and prepare young Nigerians for ethical, competent, and people-centred leadership at the local, state, and national levels.<\/p>\n<p>Through a structured six-month learning journey, Fellows receive leadership training, mentorship, and practical exposure to Nigeria\u2019s political and governance ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fellowship Tracks<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applicants must select one of the following tracks:<\/p>\n<p><em>Track 1: Scholarship Track (Fully Funded)<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Highly competitive and merit-based<\/li>\n<li>Covers full or partial tuition<\/li>\n<li>Bootcamp travel, accommodation, and feeding are covered only for scholarship beneficiaries, subject to availability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Track 2: Paid Track (Partial Funded)<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fellows pay 50% of the approved tuition fee in full and receive 50% partial scholarship alongside other logistics covered.<\/li>\n<li>Fellows on this track will bear the cost of Bootcamp travel, while the foundation covers accommodation, and feeding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Track 3: Self-Sponsored &amp; Fully Paid Track<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fellows independently cover:\n<ul>\n<li>Full tuition fee<\/li>\n<li>All Bootcamp-related costs (travel, accommodation, feeding)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Suitable for applicants with personal, employer, institutional, or third-party sponsorship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Access to a high-impact political leadership development programme<\/li>\n<li>Training by a distinguished Faculty of political leaders and experts<\/li>\n<li>Group mentorship from past and serving Nigerian political leaders<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to design and implement a civic engagement project<\/li>\n<li>Capstone Project development and policy brief development presentation<\/li>\n<li>Membership in the EPLF Alumni Network<\/li>\n<li>Increased visibility within Nigeria\u2019s political ecosystem<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applicants must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be Nigerian and actively engaged or interested in mainstream politics<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate leadership, service, and civic responsibility<\/li>\n<li>Have a proven track record of integrity and accountability<\/li>\n<li>Be aged 25\u201335 years <em>(Applicants aged 36\u201345 with strong applications may be considered)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Meet statutory requirements to run for public office in Nigeria<\/li>\n<li>Have no criminal record or ongoing investigation with any security agency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A complete application includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A completed online application form<\/li>\n<li>An up-to-date CV (PDF only, maximum of 3 pages)<\/li>\n<li>Longlisted applicants will submit a 3\u20135 minute video application<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSdaxGPp3JBMkkF-vHyQyCWrCXSOx0YDsBhqV_wnfzQXhpHwYw\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Click here to apply<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For more information, visit <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eplf.thebridgeleadership.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TBLF Emerging Political Leaders Fellowship<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text]<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"[vc_column_text css=\"\"] Deadline: February 28, 2026 Applications are open for The Bridge Leadership Foundation (TBLF) Emerging Political Leaders Fellowship 2026.
