The IBM Impact Accelerator is a social innovation program that\u00a0supports communities facing environmental and economic stress\u00a0around the world, through technologies like AI and an ecosystem of\u00a0experts.<\/p>\n<p>Each year, the Accelerator selects five organizations requesting pro bono IBM support. Together, selected organizations and IBM design, develop, and deploy technology configured to accelerate, scale, and otherwise optimize specific interventions directly benefiting communities.<\/p>\n<p>The IBM Impact Accelerator has had 25 engagements, each with a different nonprofit or government organization, divided into five cohorts: sustainable agriculture, clean energy, water management, resilient cities, and supply chains.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>IBM collaborates with organizations to design, develop, and deploy a technical solution directly benefiting communities. Throughout the experience, IBM provides access to\u00a0platforms such as IBM watsonx and Granite AI models, IBM Cloud, IBM Environmental Intelligence\u00a0and Red Hat open source technologies as well as technical mentorship to build long-term capacity.
