The\u00a0Commonwealth\u00a0Distance Learning\u00a0programme is one of three\u00a0Master\u2019s\u00a0programmes offered by the Commonwealth Scholarships Commission.<\/p>\n<p>The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC)\u00a0provides the UK government scholarship scheme led by international development\u00a0objectives. It\u00a0operates\u00a0within the framework of the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship plan (CSFP) and offers a vivid demonstration of the UK\u2019s enduring commitment to the Commonwealth.<\/p>\n<p>By attracting\u00a0individuals with outstanding talent and identifiable potential from all backgrounds and supporting them to become leaders and innovators\u00a0in\u00a0their home countries, the CSC\u2019s work combines sustainable development with the UK national interest and provides opportunities for international partnerships and collaboration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scholarship<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarship covers tuition fees and study grants where\u00a0required. Other scholarships, awards, or bursaries that cover the same costs may not be held concurrently.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To be\u00a0considered for these scholarships, candidates\u00a0must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be a citizen of or have been granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person.<\/li>\n<li>Be permanently resident in a developing Commonwealth country.<\/li>\n<li>By September 2026,\u00a0hold a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) standard. A lower qualification and sufficient relevant experience may be considered in certain cases.<\/li>\n<li>Be unable to afford to study the programme without this scholarship.<\/li>\n<li>Have provided all supporting documentation in the required format.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Selection Process<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applications will be considered according to the following selection criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidate\u00a0merit.<\/li>\n<li>Quality of study plan.<\/li>\n<li>Potential impact\u00a0on the development of the candidate\u2019s home country.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0deadline\u00a0closing date\u00a0for\u00a0submitting an\u00a0application\u00a0is\u00a016:00\u00a0BST\u00a0on\u00a0Tuesday\u00a031 March 2026.
