The ACU Gender Grants are awarded annually to member universities to support initiatives that will boost gender equity and equality on campus.<\/p>\n<p>The grants can be used for a\u202fdiverse range of projects, workshops, and events in areas such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supporting women in leadership<\/li>\n<li>Raising awareness of sexual harassment and developing anti-sexual harassment initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Supporting women in science and research<\/li>\n<li>Creating effective institutional policies<\/li>\n<li>Mainstreaming gender equity into the curriculum<\/li>\n<li>To help meet the costs of organising projects that promote gender equity and equality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The ACU is working in partnership with the Martha Farrell Foundation to provide up to three of the five Gender Grants focused on creating effective anti-sexual harassment policies and strategies, drawing on the Foundation\u2019s expertise in anti-sexual harassment initiatives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grant<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Five grants of up to GBP 2,000.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open to staff members of ACU member universities in Africa and Asia and include online training and follow-up online support from the Martha Farrell Foundation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Submit an application through the online application form.\n<ul>\n<li>If you already have a MyACU account, you can access the grant application form here, this form will be live once applications are open.<\/li>\n<li>If you do not already have a MyACU account, please ensure that you first\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/crm.acu.ac.uk\/content\/myacu-user-registration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">register for an account here<\/a>\u00a0and then follow the instructions in the registration email to log in to the system before accessing the application form<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information, visit <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.acu.ac.uk\/funding-opportunities\/for-university-staff\/university-staff-grants\/acu-gender-grants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ACU Gender Grants<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text]<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"[vc_column_text css=\"\"] Deadline: May 6, 2026 Applications are open for the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) Gender Grants 2026.
