Are you curious to learn more about work of a diplomatic mission and how the EU Delegation represents EU interests and values in\u00a0\u00a0Partnership with the African Union? Applications are open for the funded traineeship for young graduates at the EU Delegation to African Union 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0traineeship\u00a0runs up to\u00a06 months in 2026\u00a0within the Political, Press and Information (PPI) Section of the EU Delegation to the African Union. The tentative start date is 1st\u00a0May 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The main tasks include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparatory work for the follow-up of the 2025 EU-AU Ministerial Conference and subsequent Summit and other related events and initiatives\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to the communication and visibility work of the EU Delegation: a) drafting press releases, project fiches and other communication documents; b) contributing to the organisation of events; c) supporting in any other strategic communication tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Undertake research on some specific Political\/Cooperation issues and make summaries of key papers and of meetings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Attending meetings and preparing minutes of those<\/li>\n<li>Draft, edit and produce short videos, social media cards, factsheets, speeches, project fiches &amp; other relevant materials and contributing to the organisation of events<\/li>\n<li>Support in coordinating the Team Europe Communication Community and the Delegation\u2019s Communication cluster, updating collaborative spaces, ensuring meetings\u2019 minutes, assisting with an effective follow up and tracking of actions<\/li>\n<li>Organization of and participation in internal and external events, prepare respective reports<\/li>\n<li>Contributing to the preparation of internal documents, statements, speeches, reports and information collection. Particular focus will be on mobility and migration, youth, economic integration, G20 and multilateral relations<\/li>\n<li>Support as needed the Policy and Cooperation Section on dedicated files notably in view of the follow-up of the 2025 Ministerial conference and subsequent Summit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Each selected trainee will receive a\u00a0monthly grant\u00a0to cover living expenses.
