The Macquarie Master of Research provides thorough research-relevant training for candidates interested in shorter research projects or pursuing a research career. The Road to Research Scholarship is for onshore applicants who are eligible to commence the Macquarie Master of Research (MRes) in Sydney, Australia in Session 2 2026.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scholarship<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The scholarship comprises:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a tuition fee offset for a maximum of one year<\/li>\n<li>a living allowance stipend of $39,700 for one year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Awards will only be available to applicants who,\u00a0at the time of application:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>are\u00a0onshore\u00a0in Australia at the time of application<\/li>\n<li>intend to reside in Sydney, Australia during their candidature<\/li>\n<li>plan to undertake a Master of Research in July 2026 (S2 2026)<\/li>\n<li>are enrolling as full-time students<\/li>\n<li>meet the\u00a0English language requirements\u00a0for Macquarie graduate research degrees<\/li>\n<li>meet the\u00a0admission criteria\u00a0for the Master of Research<\/li>\n<li>have confirmation of supervision from an eligible Macquarie University researcher (compulsory for FMHHS and desirable for the other faculties)<\/li>\n<li>International applicants will need a valid Student Visa in order to commence their program.
