GWNET in collaboration with the\u00a0Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA)\u00a0and\u00a0Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL)\u00a0are\u00a0excited to launch their\u00a0fourth cohort of a mentorship program specifically targeting women in the clean cooking sector in Africa, Asia, and Haiti.<\/p>\n<p>Following the success of the 2021, 2022, and 2023 cohort they are thrilled to continue supporting and uplifting women in the clean cooking sector. In 2025, the \u201cWomen in Clean Cooking\u201d (WICC) mentorship program will support women in the clean cooking sector, offering benefits that include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gaining experience from seasoned professionals in the energy sector;<\/li>\n<li>Obtaining career-enhancing activities to support concrete goals;<\/li>\n<li>Enhancing professional and personal development;<\/li>\n<li>Fostering strategic thinking and innovative ideas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be a national from Africa, Asia or Haiti and working in any country in Africa or Asia, or Haiti.<\/li>\n<li>Must be a woman working in clean cooking, with a strong personal interest in contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 5 and 7 by supporting the engagement of other women in the process and a commitment to women\u2019s empowerment and gender equality.<\/li>\n<li>Must work in an early to mid-career position, with 2 \u2013 10 years of work experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The mentorship programme is also designed around the following parameters:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Regional focus on early to mid-career professionals in Africa, Asia, and Haiti;<\/li>\n<li>Bilateral interaction for 11 months between mentees and mentors along mutually-agreed professional development targets;<\/li>\n<li>Careful matchmaking and continuous support by the GWNET Secretariat, alongside CCA and SEforALL;<\/li>\n<li>A series of exclusive curated knowledge-transfer webinars based on needs stated by the mentee cohort;<\/li>\n<li>Skill-building elements for professional leadership and communication;<\/li>\n<li>Virtual networking opportunities at international energy and\/or renewables events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kindly note that the program will be carried out in English and professional working proficiency is required.
