With a view to promoting human resource capacities and to enhancing international understanding and friendship among nations and the peoples, the Polish National Commission for UNESCO and the Adam Mickiewicz University in Pozna\u0144, Poland, are placing at the disposal of UNESCO 7 fellowships in the field of Archaeology and Conservation.<\/p>\n<p>The 7 selected fellows will be given the opportunity to undertake a 9-month archaeological internship between 1 October 2026 and 30 June 2027, at the Faculty of Archaeology of Adam Mickiewicz University in Pozna\u0144, Poland. The internship will be consisted of a main course (New multidisciplinary methods inarchaeological practice) and selected additional and supplementary courses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Facilities Offered by the Polish authorities<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Free tuition for 9 months and access to the university facilities based on the local regulations.<\/li>\n<li>A Monthly allowance, according to two scholarship rates determined by the last academic degree obtained by the fellowship holder: PLN 2,200 for Master of Arts (M.A) and PLN 1,800 for Bachelor of Arts (B.A) (1 USD = approximately 4,00 PLN). Thus, all living expenses and accommodation in Poland are to be borne by the fellow with this allowance; and<\/li>\n<li>A one-time special allowance of of 2200 PLN for Master of Arts (M.A) or 1800 PLN for Bachelor of Arts (B.A), to be paid upon arrival in Poland, this sum will cover different activities related to your stay in Poznan, such as cultural, historical and\/or touristic visits, conferences, workshops, and seminars related to your studies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Facilities Offered by UNESCO<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>International travel expenses (by the most direct, economical route): from the beneficiary\u2019s country to and from Poland will be covered by UNESCO;<\/li>\n<li>Health insurance for fellowship beneficiaries who are declared medically fit: UNESCO fellowship holders may be covered by a health insurance policy, taken-out by the Organization for the duration of fellowship.
