The Dag Hammarskj\u00f6ld Foundation offers an internship position in Communications and Event Management for BA\/MA level students and recent graduates for the fall of 2026. This internship provides an opportunity to develop professional skills in a dynamic international environment by playing an integral role in the Foundation\u2019s event management, including the organisation of the annual Dag Hammarskj\u00f6ld Lecture. In addition, the intern will contribute to the Foundation\u2019s strategic and operational communications work.<\/p>\n<p>The intern will work closely with the coordination of the Lecture such as outreach and communications, registration, and other logistics. In addition to the Lecture, the intern will contribute to communications across the Foundation\u2019s programmes, such as producing stories and visuals for digital channels, supporting the launch of new publications, and helping organise knowledge-sharing events and webinars about multilateral cooperation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist\u00a0in\u00a0planning and executing\u00a0(high-level) international\u00a0meetings,\u00a0seminars\u00a0and events\u00a0including\u00a0the annual Dag Hammarskj\u00f6ld Lecture<\/li>\n<li>Provide support in outreach and communications (website, social media, newsletter)<\/li>\n<li>Produce and edit visuals such as photographs and short videos<\/li>\n<li>Help\u00a0in drafting, editing\u00a0of\u00a0concept notes, reports,\u00a0blogs\u00a0and\u00a0publications<\/li>\n<li>Perform\u00a0additional\u00a0tasks as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicants should be enrolled in or recently graduated from a BA\/MA programme in a relevant field.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities are essential, as are excellent\u00a0communication and writing skills in English.<\/li>\n<li>Previous\u00a0experience\u00a0with\u00a0the United Nations\u00a0or\u00a0in an international environment\u00a0is an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Send your application to <strong>[email\u00a0protected] <\/strong>no later than 17 April 2026, with \u201cLast Name, First Name: \u201cCommunications and Event Management Internship Application\u201d in the subject heading.
