The Cumberland Lodge Fellowship scheme offers 10 postgraduate students and early career industry candidates a unique opportunity to develop their potential as emerging leaders and changemakers.<\/p>\n<p>Through a two-year association designed to fit around and enhance their research and work, Fellows deepen their understanding of contemporary social issues and develop new skills in public engagement, interdisciplinary working, leadership, networking, convening, and facilitating debate on a range of topics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fellowship Structure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>First-year Fellows:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Annual Fellows\u2019 Retreat (September)<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of one workshop or conference at Cumberland Lodge or with partners<\/li>\n<li>Contribute a blog and\/or engage on our community platform, Circle<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Second-year Fellows:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Annual Fellows\u2019 Retreat (September)<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of one workshop or conference<\/li>\n<li>Produce a Dialogue &amp; Debate webinar or podcast (individually or collaboratively)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally, Fellows receive mentoring, can develop facilitation skills, take on weekend duties at the Lodge, and attend free events like Cumberland Conversations and the London Dialogue. They cover all meals, accommodation, and London travel expenses for required activities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Designed to fit around your research or career, the Fellowship provides:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Networking\u00a0with policymakers, academics, and industry leaders.<\/li>\n<li>Skills development\u00a0in public engagement, interdisciplinary working, and ethical leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Mentorship\u00a0from senior figures via the partnership with\u00a0Windsor Leadership Trust.<\/li>\n<li>A\u00a0\u00a3300 Personal Development Grant\u00a0to fund projects promoting social cohesion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Fellowship is open to anyone resident in the UK. You can apply as either:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a post-graduate Fellow, currently registered on a doctoral programme of any discipline at a London university for the duration of the Fellowship, or;<\/li>\n<li>an industry Fellow, within five years of beginning your career.
