This initiative is part of IBRO\u2019s broader commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in neuroscience research and education.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grant<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Africa: $5,000 USD<\/li>\n<li>Asia-Pacific: $3,000 USD<\/li>\n<li>Latin America: $3,000 USD<\/li>\n<li>Pan-Europe: $4,500 USD<\/li>\n<li>US\/Canada: $4,000 USD<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applications are open to PhD students and early-career postdoctoral fellows who are within 5 years of starting their first postdoctoral fellowship.<\/li>\n<li>These grants are intended for those planning to attend a neuroscience training course starting between\u00a01 July and 31 December\u00a02026.<\/li>\n<li>Applications from students wishing to attend an\u00a0IBRO-Supported School\u00a0will not be taken into consideration for this program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To ensure a comprehensive and fair evaluation of applications, applicants are requested to provide the following information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicant Details: A brief description of the applicant\u2019s academic background and current research focus.<\/li>\n<li>Course Description: Detailed information about the training course, including its relevance to the applicant\u2019s research and career development. The course should consist of a structured program focused on education and skill development in a field closely related to neuroscience.<\/li>\n<li>Impact Statement: A comprehensive explanation of how the participation in the specified course will benefit the applicant\u2019s research and\/or career trajectory.<\/li>\n<li>References: A minimum of one letter of reference supporting the applicant\u2019s suitability for the grant and the chosen training course. One reference must be from the applicant\u2019s current supervisor.<\/li>\n<li>Budget Request: A detailed budget breakdown, including course fees, travel costs, and local expenses associated with attending the training course.
