This is their\u00a0\u201ccatch-all\u201d grant, so there are no restrictions on topic or reporting location.\u00a0Staff and freelance journalists are eligible worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Grants are for the hard costs of reporting a specific story or series of stories. These costs can include travel, paying for essential data, or temporarily hiring additional people with certain skills. They do not fund academic reports, advocacy campaigns, book projects, feature films, or broad concepts without specific story ideas.
