One of the foundation\u2019s objectives is to award a grant each year to one small business or budding entrepreneur seeking to establish or expand their venture.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Femmy O Foundation\u00a0was created in loving memory of\u00a0Femmy Olaniyi, a cherished daughter, sister, teacher, and friend. Her unwavering faith, entrepreneurial spirit, and dedication to learning continue to inspire those who knew her. As a devoted Christian, Femmy spent her Sundays teaching and mentoring young children in church, instilling values of kindness, resilience, and faith.<\/p>\n<p>As a passionate entrepreneur, she successfully managed her own nail business while pursuing her studies. Even as she bravely battled gastric cancer, she remained determined, graduating with a\u00a0Business degree from the National College of Ireland\u2014a testament to her perseverance and ambition.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grant<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>They usually offer a \u20ac1,000 grant to a successful entrepreneur.<\/li>\n<li>This year, they are awarding a second \u20ac500 grant to another small business or budding entrepreneur.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You must be over 18 to apply for the grant.<\/li>\n<li>You must be planning to start a new business or expand an existing small business that is less than 3 years old.<\/li>\n<li>Businesses must be operating in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.*<\/li>\n<li>Businesses must have capacity for growth.<\/li>\n<li>Businesses must have the necessary management or technical skills or be willing to develop this skill.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*If operating in Northern Ireland the winner will receive the amount in pounds equivalent to \u20ac1,000 or \u20ac500, based on the exchange rate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Download and complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1TbW1MggIzREr2nFHkb7cQAEwh2RiY0MydfJYT7Ww4Uw\/edit?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">application document<\/a> as required.<\/li>\n<li>You may submit a short video pitching your business.
