Youth4Climate is launching a global call for mentors to support youth-led climate innovators through one-to-one mentorship, technical assistance, masterclasses and scale-up pathways.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Youth4Climate Mentorship Programme\u00a0connects awardees with experienced professionals who can offer practical guidance, technical insight, and real-world perspectives to help strengthen and grow their climate solutions.<\/p>\n<p>The core and mandatory component of the programme is\u00a0one-to-one mentorship. Selected mentors are expected to commit to a\u00a0minimum of 2 hours per month, which can be spread flexibly across the month based on mutual availability and the needs of the awardee. Beyond this core commitment, mentors may also choose to contribute in additional ways, depending on their expertise, interest and availability.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a Youth4Climate mentor, you will have the opportunity to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Join and connect a global expert network<\/li>\n<li>Take part in exchange and learning<\/li>\n<li>Support real climate solutions<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to explainers, reports or other UNDP knowledge pieces<\/li>\n<li>Gain visibility and recognition<\/li>\n<li>Contribute flexibly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They are seeking\u00a0mid- and senior-level professionals, entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, investors, academics, and technical experts\u00a0with\u00a05+ years of relevant work experience\u00a0and proven expertise in one or more of the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Climate finance and fundraising<\/li>\n<li>Investment readiness and pitching<\/li>\n<li>Startup scaling and business development<\/li>\n<li>Storytelling, communications, and advocacy<\/li>\n<li>Sustainable energy, food systems, nature-based solutions, or digital innovation<\/li>\n<li>Impact measurement and theory of change<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Prior mentoring, advisory, coaching, teaching, or investment support experience is welcome, though not mandatory.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you have 5+ years of relevant experience and would like to support youth-led climate innovators through practical guidance, technical insight and ecosystem connections, they encourage you to apply.
