The University of Birmingham is pleased to announce scholarship awards of \u00a35,000 for select students in the Middle East and North Africa applying for entry to an undergraduate programme at the University starting September 2026.<\/p>\n<p>These are joint awards with local representatives. The scholarships will be awarded to the highest performing students starting their University of Birmingham programme in the 2026\/2027 academic year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scholarship<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The scholarship is \u00a35,000 awards towards tuition fees (for the first year only) of a full-time Undergraduate degree programme at the University of Birmingham UK campus, starting September 2026.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Open to students living in (domiciled) the following countries: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE.<\/p>\n<p>In order to be eligible, candidates must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have received an offer and selected the University of Birmingham as their firm choice for a full-time undergraduate programme starting September 2026. The student must be entering the first year of an undergraduate programme based at Birmingham\u2019s UK campus.<\/li>\n<li>Meet the academic conditions of their offer to the programme.<\/li>\n<li>Be classed by the University as an overseas fee payer for tuition fee purposes and be able to pay the outstanding tuition fees not covered by the scholarship.<\/li>\n<li>Have sufficient funds to cover the full cost of living at the University of Birmingham, plus any visa\/travel expenses associated with studying in the UK.<\/li>\n<li>Start their studies at the University in September 2026 (the scholarship award may not be deferred).<\/li>\n<li>Be registered with, and have their undergraduate study application attached to, one of the local representatives.<\/li>\n<li>Submit your scholarship application through one of the local representatives by the deadline;\u00a030 May\u00a02026.<\/li>\n<li>Upon enrolment in September 2026, pay their net tuition fees for the first year by 1 November, immediately following enrolment.<\/li>\n<li>Students applying to MBChB Medicine and Surgery or BDS Dental Surgery are not eligible for this scholarship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To apply for the scholarship students will need to have accepted an offer from Birmingham, have selected Birmingham as their firm choice, and be in contact with one of the agent partners \/ local representatives listed by the scholarship deadline of\u00a030 May 2026.
