Applications are open for the Policy Center for the New South (PCNS) Junior Professional Program 2026. The Junior Professional Program (JPP) provides an opportunity to gain expertise in fields such as research (international relations/economics) or project management (communication, partnerships, community management, finance).

By working in a professional environment that encourages interaction between policymakers, academia, and civil society, the JPP is structured to enhance your skills and improve your employability. This two-year job contract is designed to significantly support your professional development.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s (4 years) or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in international relations, economics, project management, or a related field.
  • Interest in global issues and development in Africa.
  • Strong analytical, research, and/or project management skills.
  • Fluency in at least two languages (Arabic, English, French, or others).
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
